The Wheel of Life provides a snapshot of your wellbeing and the level of satisfaction in your current circumstances. It is a way to take a good, hard look at each facet of your life, and rate its relative quality level, so you can uncover which areas need more attention than others.
At a high level, the exercise provides insight into whether or not your life is in balance. From a more detailed perspective, it captures whether individual areas of your life meet your needs and make you happy or leave you dissatisfied and discontented.
The wheel of life offers insights into areas of your life that are causing you difficulty. No matter how accomplished or happy you are in life, there are always areas that could do with some improvement, whether it is your health, career, finances, or relationships. What parts of your life have you ignored in order to focus your attention elsewhere?
The wheel of life represents your life as a whole and will help you create balance. It contains thirteen sections that, together, represent one way of describing a whole life.
The Wheel of Life is divided into different areas or categories that are important to you. Take time to self-assess each sector of your life by giving it a value on the scale from 1 to 0, with 1 being a “complete disaster” and 10 is “wow this is awesome”.
Be honest with yourself and give an accurate value which will adequately represent your satisfaction with each aspect. To be able to design your life, you must first create your map of where you are today. Take the Wheel of Life assessment to get started on your journey to the extraordinary life you desire – and deserve.
